Replacement Mitsubishi PLC fitted.

MCI received a call from a new customer who manufactures portable cabins. Their long serving wood pressure treatment machine had a failed Mitsubishi PLC. Unfortunately, the customer did not have a backup of the PLC program, so it had been very difficult to get the machine running again without MCI's specialist assistance. Without the machine working for some time, the customer incurred additional costs as they were forced to purchase the treated wood from an external source.

MCI's engineers set to work and removed the old PLC and expansion module. We replaced the PLC and module with a newer unit, capable of running a program obtained from another similar machine. The program was then changed to suit the machine, allowing the customer's operations to continue without further disruption.

Thankfully, we were able to save this machine, but it is always important to back up all your machine's programs to ensure quick, effective and cost efficient repairs.
