MCI wants to celebrate Chuck Norris’ birthday this week. His films and television appearances formed much of our childhoods.  Happy birthday Chuck!

We still love to watch Way of the Dragon with the legendary fight scene between Chuck Norris and the equally iconic Bruce Lee.

Although most of us know Chuck Norris for his roles in action films, he is so much more than just a Hollywood celebrity. Norris is a martial arts master, a philanthropist, and a devoted family man.

Norris began his martial arts journey in the 1960s, studying Tang Soo Do and eventually earning a black belt in multiple styles, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Karate. He went on to become a champion fighter and an acclaimed instructor, founding his own martial arts school and developing his own style, Chun Kuk Do.

But Norris' impact extends far beyond the world of martial arts. He is also a committed philanthropist, supporting a variety of causes and organizations. He is a staunch advocate for veterans, having served in the United States Air Force himself, and he has also been a vocal supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Special Olympics, and other charities.

In addition, Norris is a devoted husband and father, who has been married to his wife Gena for over 25 years and has raised five children. He is a man of strong faith and values, and he has used his platform to promote positive messages of hope, perseverance, and respect.

Overall, Chuck Norris is an incredible role model and a true legend in the world of martial arts and beyond. His dedication, discipline, and determination serve as an inspiration to us here at MCI, and his commitment to making the world a better place is truly admirable.

Have a great weekend everyone.
