MCI received a setting system for an industrial band mill from a local sawmill. As you can see from the video above, the system gave inconsistent readings. Our engineers found that there was damage to the encoder inputs. We replaced the damaged components and tested the system to ensure that it was repaired.

Experience in the Sawmill Industry

MCI has over a decade of experience in working with sawmills. We have repaired, maintained and modified machinery for this industry. This has included upgrading control panels to maximise the efficiency of existing machinery. We have been so successful in helping our clients save money and increase machine efficiency, that we have started a new energy saving service. We can send one of our engineers out to have a look at your machinery. They can tell you how MCI can save you money on energy bills and increase the efficiency of your machinery. Our clients have been very pleased with the results and their reduced energy bills. We have saved our clients tens of thousands of pounds since we started this service and our client demand for this service is growing. Of course, cutting energy expenditure is also good for the environment and no one can’t argue with that!

If you are looking to cut downtime due to machinery breakdown further, MCI offers a maintenance service to regularly send our engineers to maintain your machinery and discuss any upgrades that you may be looking to make to your machinery. Well maintained machinery rarely breaks down. This means less downtime and less money lost while the machinery is out of action. If you have an existing team of engineers, our engineers can work seamlessly with them, or we can provide a team for you if you require one. Needless to say, our engineers will provide impartial and commercially aware advice to ensure you get a solution that works for you.
