MCI is today counting down to Christmas with the Twelve Days of Christmas. The true origins of the song and meanings are obscured by time. However, the most well known version was published in a children’s book dating back to 1780. In the North of England, the song was originally called the ‘Ten Days of Christmas’.
There is a thought that the song was originally French as the French partridge is the one that perches in trees more than the common partridge. Some people have suggested that the song was part of a game – similar to the modern day drinking games.
Our version, however, is the Twelve Days of MCI-mas!
Today we’re singing:
‘…On the second day of Christmas, MCI sent to me,
Two Engineers. and a circuit on a PCB’
Have a great weekend everyone, and if you’re looking for two of our engineers, or a circuit on a PCB, give MCI a call on 01324 611371 to see how we can help.
