MCI was called out to another new customer. The customer is a local stainless steel fabrication company. Their press brake machine was not working at full capacity. For those of you who are not familiar, a press brake is a machine that bends flat pieces of metal into shapes or channels depending on the tooling used.

The machine had recently been serviced by the manufacturer, but the engineer could not fix the problem and, as the control circuit board was obsolete, the only suggested fix by the manufacturer was to upgrade the machine at a SIGNIFICANT cost.

MCI attended the site and examined the machine. We removed the control board and took it to the workshop for further fault-finding. MCI's engineers diagnosed the problem, replaced the defective components, returned to the customer's site and refitted the control board. The machine was left working perfectly. Another happy customer.
